What children's lighting do you stock?
Our lighting range covers children's nightlights, table lamps, and bedroom lighting — pieces that create a warm, calming environment for bedtime and a beautiful focal point in a child's room. We stock lighting that works as a design piece as much as a functional one, from soft silicone nightlights to sculptural table lamps.
Are your nightlights safe for babies and toddlers?
Yes — all lighting in our range meets UK electrical safety standards and is designed for use in children's bedrooms. Our most popular nightlights use low-heat LED bulbs, have no exposed wires within a child's reach, and have no small parts. Soft silicone nightlights like those from Liewood are particularly safe and tactile for young children.
Do nightlights help children sleep?
A soft, warm-toned nightlight can be a valuable sleep association and help children feel secure at bedtime. Crucially, colour temperature matters: warm amber or orange tones have minimal impact on melatonin production (the sleep hormone), while cool blue-white tones actively suppress it. We favour nightlights with warm, gentle tones for exactly this reason.
