Mifkins: Fairytale New Parents Card

Mifkins is a UK based brand of luxury greeting cards and gift wrap that are made with sustainably in mind. Our modern designs reflect kids of today, breaking stereotypes and promoting inclusivity.

Mifkins is founded on simple values: creativity, diversity and kindness. We believe that we must direct kindness to ourselves, to each other, and to the planet which we call our home, and that’s why sustainability is at the heart of our business operations.

As part of our efforts to be environmentally friendly, we consider sustainability at every stage - from design, through manufacture and distribution. All of our paper products are printed in small batches in the UK, using FSC-certified card stock that is uncoated therefore able to be recycled.

The cards and wrap are first and foremost sustainable, but that definitely doesn’t denote a lack of luxury. The sturdy cards are 300gsm, high quality and a joy to hold, paired with kraft envelopes that are produced from recyclable materials and are themselves recyclable.

The soft-touch wrapping paper sheets are thick and durable, able to be gently reused, recycled or turned into craft supplied for the kids. There’s endless creativity with the character-based creations.

We aim to reduce unnecessary waste wherever possible, so all of our greeting cards and gift wrap are packaged plastic-free, using only paper belly bands to hold trade packages and all direct to customer sales are sent in recyclable boardback envelopes.

Children are at the heart of Mifkins, and we aim to do our part to protect the future of their home. We’re always looking at ways to improve our sustainability practices as Mifkins grows, adding new products that bring joy to kids and adults alike without harming the environment.
