Are your children's coats waterproof?
We stock a range of water-resistant and fully waterproof children's outerwear. Water-resistant pieces handle light rain and everyday drizzle well; fully waterproof styles include taped seams and are suitable for heavier rain and outdoor play. Individual product pages specify the level of waterproofing — or come into the shop and we'll help you choose the right level for your child's lifestyle.
What should I consider when buying a children's coat?
Fit is the most important factor — a coat that's too small restricts movement, and one that's too large lets in the cold. Look for adjustable hoods and cuffs, sturdy zips, and enough room to layer underneath. Also consider where the coat will be worn most — a school coat needs to be practical and possibly machine-washable; a weekend coat can afford to prioritise style. What age range does your outerwear cover?
Our outerwear range covers babies and toddlers through to age 10+, depending on the brand. We stock styles suitable for every season — from lightweight rain macs for spring through to padded and fleece-lined coats for winter.
Can I try outerwear on in your Huddersfield store?
